The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (GACRAA) is soliciting sealed bids for the Replacement of Parking Access and Revenue Control System project at the Gainesville Regional Airport. The work includes removal and replacement of retiring Hub ZEAG parking control equipment within the terminal and throughout the terminal public parking lot, including but not limited to Entry Terminal/Ticket Dispensers, Exit Terminal/Self-Pay Stations, Cashier Station and Fee Computer, Pay-on Foot Station, Automatic Barrier Gates and Vehicle Sensors, Parking Revenue Control System Software, Validation Computer and Printer, Intercoms, etc.

A NON-MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at ten o’clock (10:00) a.m. on June 28, 2022 at the Gainesville Regional Airport, Passenger Terminal Board Room, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Gainesville, Florida 32609. A site visit of the project areas will be conducted immediately following the pre-bid conference.
A Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required to accompany bids.
Bids must be signed by an authorized official, and enclosed in a sealed envelope or package clearly marked: “Project NO #22-004 – “Parking Access and Revenue Control System Replacement” and mailed or delivered to the Authority’s Administrative Office at the Gainesville Regional Airport, Attn: Chief Executive Officer, 3880 N.E. 39th Avenue, Suite A, Gainesville, Florida 32609
One original, clearly marked “original” and one copy of the bid are required for submittal! Bids are due at four o’clock (4:00) p.m. on July 22, 2022 (the due date has been changed; it was originally published as July 15) and will be publicly opened at this time. The official clock is located in the Authority’s Administrative Office. Bids received after this time will not be considered.
Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) firms are encouraged to participate.
GACRAA reserves the right to reject any or all bids received in response to this RFB, to change, waive or amend bid requirements and award bids as determined to be in the best interest of GACRAA.
