Massage Therapy Available at Gainesville Regional Airport
Gainesville, FL – April 30, 2003
Massage therapy is now offered at the Gainesville Regional Airport by the Massage Health Center, directed by owner and licensed therapist Anne Campbell. A therapist will be available three days a week on Monday, Thursday and Friday, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Therapists will work with seated massage chairs, with prices ranging from $7.00 for five minutes to $30.00 for thirty minutes. This service is offered for stress reduction and minor pain relief for a trial basis for two months.

Gainesville Regional Airport Flights Have Increased

May activity has just been tabulated and passenger traffic at the Gainesville Regional Airport is up. Airport Director Rick Crider is enthusiastic about these results, which indicate an increase of 10.7 percent from May 2001 to May 2002. Discover Air is Forced to Leave Gainesville

Discover Air and Gainesville Airport officials received the discouraging news late on Wednesday. As part of the overall collateral damage of last week’s terrorist attacks on The World Trade Center and the Pentagon, Discover Air’s insurance company advised the “Scheduled Part 135” operator [scheduled charter service] it would not cover “acts of war” which includes terrorist acts.
