
GAINESVILLE, Fla.,Sep. 12, 2025 — Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) is pleased to announce their new parking garage has opened to the public.
“GNV is happy to open this great new amenity to our customers and visitors,” said Allan Penksa, GNV CEO. “We appreciate everyone’s patience and support over the last few months and hope they find the ability to Park Easy at GNV will be a convenient addition that is worth the wait.”
A few remaining final items will be completed on the garage over the next few days. For now, passengers can park on the first three levels, while the top floor of the garage undergoes some finishing touches.. In addition, the bus, Uber, Lyft and taxi lanes will not be operational until next week. In the meantime, passengers may still access those services from the airport curb.
Features of the garage and intermodal transportation center include:
- Four-story, 418-space parking garage (includes 16 electric vehicle charging stations); three stories of the garage are covered, shielding vehicles and passengers from the elements
- Intermodal Transportation Center allows passengers to access RTS Bus, Taxi, ridesharing
- Location is proximal to the terminal and relieves both vehicle and pedestrian traffic at the terminal curb; covered walkway between garage and terminal offers shelter from weather
- The daily rate to park in the garage is $16.
