Open Position: Airport Maintenance Technician I
The individuals in this position provide general maintenance and repair of airport grounds, buildings and equipment in order to preserve and improve functionality, security, safety and aesthetics.
Starting Wage: $18.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Full-time, non-exempt position
Minimum Qualifications:
• Completion of high school degree or GED equivalent plus six months experience
in either the building trades or building and grounds maintenance, or any
equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to acquire the skills necessary to operate a full complement of
maintenance vehicles and equipment on airport and surrounding property, to
include an active airfield, safely and without threat to aircraft, people and self.
• Physical strength and agility sufficient to permit working overhead, and with
equipment or objects weighing over 30 pounds. Must have ability to lift up to 100
pounds as necessary.
• Must be able to understand the English language and speak in an
understandable manner in order to carry out essential job duties.
GACRAA Employment Application
Open Position: Custodial Worker/Parking Attendant Evening Shift
This is repetitive manual work requiring efficient performance of simple building cleaning and maintenance duties and performing cashier duties at the parking fee collection booth as needed when called upon by parking lot staff or as directed by the night shift lead custodian.
Starting Wage: $15.50 per hour
Work Schedule: Days to be determined, hours 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Full-time, non-exempt position
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to read, write and speak English and take direction in English.
- Requires six months experience in custodial work and/or cashier or any equivalent combination of experience.
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend and lift bulk custodial materials and supplies overhead and have reasonable strength to perform cleaning tasks at floor level and overhead.
- Ability to walk from the airline passenger terminal to the parking fee collection booth.
- Ability to safely and successfully perform essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Compliance with all personnel policies.
- Must be able to successfully pass a fingerprint-based criminal history records check, TSA Security Threat Assessment and personal background check prior to employment.

Starting Wage: $16.50 per hour
Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.
Full-time, non-exempt position

- Requires six months experience in custodial work and/or cashier or any equivalent combination of experience.
- Ability to walk, stoop, bend and lift bulk custodial materials and supplies overhead and have reasonable strength to perform cleaning tasks at floor level and overhead.
