Open Position with GACRAA:   Airport Grounds Maintenance Technician I

Starting Salary:  $16.50 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience    Job Description

Shift:  Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Minimum Qualifications Include:

  • Completion of high school degree or GED equivalent plus six months experience in either the building trades or building and grounds maintenance, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to acquire the skills necessary to operate a full complement of maintenance vehicles and equipment on airport and surrounding property, to include an active airfield, safely and without threat to aircraft, people and self.
  • Physical strength and agility sufficient to permit working overhead, and with equipment or objects weighing over 30 pounds. Must have ability to lift up to 100 pounds as necessary.
  • Must be able to understand the English language and speak in an understandable manner in order to carry out essential job duties.

Open Position with GACRAA:   Airport Operations Agent II

Starting Salary:  $20.35 per hour    Job Description
Flexible Shift:  3:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.  or   2:30 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.  or an alternate shift.   Must be able to work weekends and holidays.   Minimum Qualifications include:

  • Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma, and one (1) year experience related to aviation or experience in an airport environment or graduation from an accredited 2 or 4-year college program in Aviation Management, Aeronautics or a related field may be substituted for experience.
  • Ability to acquire the skills necessary to operate vehicles and equipment on active airfield and surrounding property safely and without threat to aircraft, people and self.
  • Physical strength and agility sufficient to permit working with equipment or objects weighing over 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to read and understand the English language in a proficient manner and speak English in an understandable manner in order to carry out essential job duties.
