The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (GACRAA) is soliciting sealed proposals for the development, management and operation of a single retail Food/Beverage/News and Gift Concession operating from three distinct locations within the commercial passenger terminal of the Gainesville Regional Airport.
The term of the contract is for one (1), five (5) year period with one (1) Five (5) year renewal option at the discretion of the concessionaire.
The Successful Proposer is expected to begin Food and Beverage Service from all three locations covered under this RFP by April 1, 2022.
Sealed proposals will be received in the Authority’s Administrative Office, located at 3880, NE 39th Ave., Suite A, Gainesville, FL, 32609 until 4:00 pm on Friday, July 30, 2021. Proposals received after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 will not be considered. The official clock is located in the Authority’s Administrative Office.
Proposal documents will be available Monday, June 21, 2021. Proposers are to submit three copies of the proposal forms. Proposal forms may be obtained from Ms. Lynn Noffsinger, Contracts and Grants Administrator at Lynn.Noffsinger@flygainesville.com
Interested parties shall submit their proposal and be willing to enter into an agreement with the Airport Authority within thirty days of award. Each proposal must be accompanied by a guaranty in the form of a cashier’s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) made payable to the Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority.
The solicitations of proposals shall in no manner be construed as a commitment on the part of the Authority to make an award. The right is reserved by the Authority to waive minor irregularities in any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, to solicit new proposals, or to accept any proposal that is deemed to be more advantageous to the traveling public and the Airport Authority.
