GAINESVILLE, Fla<\/strong>., Dec. 7, 2023<\/strong>\u2014 The popular IdentoGO by IDEMIA TSA Pre\u2713\u00ae Mobile RV event is returning to Gainesville Regional Airport (GNV) and has added four additional days of operation in January 2024. The event will run from Monday, Dec. 11 \u2013 Friday, Dec. 22, 2023 (closed Saturday and Sunday), with additional enrollment appointments Tuesday, Jan. 9 \u2013 Friday, Jan. 12, 2024. The Mobile Enrollment Center will be located on the airport property at 3880 NE 39th Ave., Gainesville, Fla., 32609. Enrollees should look for the purple and green RV in the parking lot between the airport\u2019s second cell phone lot and the GNV Airport Fire Station, across from the temporary overflow parking lot at GNV.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

IdentoGO, the company that manages the event, offers 12 appointments per hour. Applicants should note that appointments are limited and are available on a first come, first serve basis, so register as soon as possible. Please note this event is for <\/strong>TSA Pre<\/strong>\u2713<\/strong>\u00ae<\/strong><\/a> only, not Global Entry. TWIC enrollment will also be offered.<\/strong><\/p>\n

GNV has hosted six previous enrollment events, allowing thousands of people to easily enroll in the popular expedited screening program without having to drive to Jacksonville, Orlando or Tampa. To accommodate increased passenger traffic, GNV added a second screening lane in May 2018 and added TSA Pre\u2713\u00ae in October 2018. TSA Pre\u2713\u00ae is now available for all flights at GNV.<\/p>\n

TSA Pre\u2713\u00ae is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and efficient screening experience. For TSA Pre\u2713\u00ae travelers, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops, light outerwear or belts. Today, TSA Pre\u2713\u00ae has more than 450 lanes at 200+ U.S. airports and in Nassau, The Bahamas.<\/p>\n

The TSA Pre<\/em>\u2713<\/em>\u00ae application program allows U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents to directly apply for TSA Pre<\/em>\u2713<\/em>\u00ae. Once approved, travelers will receive a \u201cKnown Traveler Number\u201d(KTN), which can be added to a travelers airline profile and reservations and will have the opportunity to utilize TSA Pre<\/em>\u2713<\/em>\u00ae lanes at select security checkpoints when flying on over <\/em>80 carriers<\/em><\/a> that currently participate in TSA Pre<\/em>\u2713<\/em>\u00ae.<\/em><\/p>\n

To participate in GNV\u2019s enrollment event, follow these steps to pre-enroll:<\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Visit tsaenrollmentbyidemia.tsa.dhs.gov<\/a> to access the application page<\/li>\n
  2. Click \u201cNEW ENROLLMENT\u201d<\/li>\n
  3. Fill out steps and choose \u201cNext\u201d at the bottom of each screen<\/li>\n
  4. Type in your location in the Zipcode\/City\/Airport Code box \u2013 then click Search<\/li>\n
  5. Choose location \u201cGainesville, FL – Truck Pop-Up: GNV 12\/11-12\/22 & 1\/9-1\/12<\/b>\u201d and click Next<\/li>\n
  6. Select your desired appointment time (Please be sure to make note of your appointment time, no reminders will be sent out.)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    The hours for the IdentoGo <\/strong>TSA Pre<\/strong>\u2713<\/strong>\u00ae<\/strong><\/a> Mobile RV Event at GNV will be: <\/strong><\/p>\n

    Monday, December 11 \u2013 Friday, December 22:<\/b> Monday – Friday: 9 a.m. – noon, 1 p.m. \u2013 5 p.m. (closed from noon to 1 p.m. for lunch). Closed Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

    Convenient parking will be available in the parking lot in between the second cell phone lot and the airport fire station, across from the temporary overflow lot (see small blue square in image below)<\/p>\n

    IMPORTANT<\/u><\/strong>!<\/strong> To complete the application process, you will need to bring documentation proving identity<\/em> and citizenship<\/em><\/strong> status! If you have a valid U.S. passport<\/strong>, that is all you need for ID! You will finish the process onsite by providing your fingerprints for a background check.<\/p>\n

    The application fee is $78 (good for five years) and can be paid by credit card, money order, company check, or certified\/cashier’s check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
