The Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority (GACRAA) is soliciting sealed proposals for the development, management and operation of a single retail Food\/Beverage\/News and Gift Concession operating from three distinct locations within the commercial passenger terminal of the Gainesville Regional Airport.<\/p>\n

The term of the contract is for one (1), five (5) year period with one (1) Five (5) year renewal option at the discretion of the concessionaire.<\/p>\n

The Successful Proposer is expected to begin Food and Beverage Service from all three locations covered under this RFP by April 1, 2022.<\/p>\n

Sealed proposals will be received in the Authority\u2019s Administrative Office, located at 3880, NE 39th<\/sup> Ave., Suite A, Gainesville, FL, 32609 until 4:00 pm on Friday, July 30, 2021.\u00a0 Proposals received after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 30, 2021 will not be considered.\u00a0 The official clock is located in the Authority\u2019s Administrative Office.<\/p>\n

Proposal documents will be available Monday, June 21, 2021.\u00a0 Proposers are to submit three copies of the proposal forms.\u00a0 Proposal forms may be obtained from Ms. Lynn Noffsinger, Contracts and Grants Administrator at Lynn.Noffsinger@flygainesville.com<\/a>
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Interested parties shall submit their proposal and be willing to enter into an agreement with the Airport Authority within thirty days of award.\u00a0 Each proposal must be accompanied by a guaranty in the form of a cashier\u2019s check, certified check, or money order in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) made payable to the Gainesville-Alachua County Regional Airport Authority.<\/p>\n

The solicitations of proposals shall in no manner be construed as a commitment on the part of the Authority to make an award.\u00a0 The right is reserved by the Authority to waive minor irregularities in any proposal, to reject any or all proposals, to solicit new proposals, or to accept any proposal that is deemed to be more advantageous to the traveling public and the Airport Authority.<\/p>\n
